GIO TV Ad at Berlina Bodyworks
In the 1980s GIO launched the recommended repairer system with George's help. The television advertisement was filmed at Berlina Bodyworks and until today George is still heavily involved in the help of the motoring industry.
History About Berlina Workshop
When George and Cathy brought the workshop in the 70s, the only history they knew about it was that it was a warehouse to store carpet. In the 90s the Piazza family was approached by the President of the Rolls Royce club. He asked George if they could have a Rolls Royce club day at the workshop. George replied, "Sure, but why the interest to have it here?" They replied, "This workshop was my grandfather's in the 30s 40s and 50s. It was a Rolls Royce coach building shop!!" You can imagine how the Piazza family felt.
Since the 90s George has tried to keep all renovations around the original structure of the building and not changing too much to the facade in interiors.
BERLINA BODYWORKS IS AN ICON WORKSHOP ON THE PARRAMATTA ROAD. THE ONE THAT'S KNOWN TO HAVE ALL THE FANCY CARS.
